about little children
that makes me feel
a bit of
heaven on earth.
especially tiny babies.
the faith in their eyes.
the trust of their grasp.
the love in their smile.
i can't wait
to have one
or two or three or four
of my own
one day.
dear children,
i love you already
and i can't wait to meet you.
i'm trying to learn
all i need to learn
before you join me
here on earth.
it's going to be scary
and it's going to be hard.
but we'll be in it together
and that is why
it will all be worth it.
