i was thinking that
a million dollars
would do me no good
if i had no one to share it with.
and a perfectly decorated home
with dinner in the oven and a wreath on the door
would be no good if i was there alone.
i'm dying to get this book and these too.
when i listened to the talk in my car the other day,
there were tears.
another wedding season is beginning.
and i am happy about it.
pretty sure elder holland's talk
was just for me.
plus, with wedding season comes warm weather
and long evenings.
speaking of summer, i'd like a new swimming suit.

an email excerpt and a photo
I got an email about a group project last night and this is a direct quote from it:
"I am sorry that I did not e-mail this yesterday, but I was judging at a martial arts tournament."
oh my. i was laughing out loud in my room at 1:30 a.m. when i read that.
on another note:
this is my great grandma. almost 97 years old.
i love her because she has such a positive attitude.
i'm pretty sure she has more friends than me,
and i know she is one of the happiest people on earth.

it's the little things.
the little things like airborne.
like taking off my jewelry at the end of the day.

like reading through old blog posts.
(one of my favorites is THIS. it's a good reminder.)
like taking a nap.
like simple happiness. there's no better feeling.
like being in good company.
