little letters

dear summer,
the fact that you are here makes everything so much better. i love you.

dear nba,

dear snow,
GO AWAY.

dear sunshine,
i need you.

dear work,
i like you a lot. even though you've given me wayyyy too much time in front of the computer. i'm sure i've stocked everyone on fb, read everyone's blog, and watched too many youtube videos. p.s. what will july bring?

dear august 20,
you are less than 3 months away! hallelujah. {enter every positive word here}

dear anyone who has a boat,

dear planner,
where are you? i hope i find you soon.

dear utah,
the more i travel (both inside and outside of you) the more i realize how amazing you really are.

dear life,
i love the adventures you bring. even though sometimes it seems like i don't, i really do. a lot.

How does one go about finding roomates like this? I want.

Because right now, I'm feeling like this. and this.

Summer Bucket List

This is my first summer being 100% single in my entire dating life, aka since age 16. This means, I am free to do what I want, how I want, when I want. But it also means doing things alone.

This is my last summer break from school. Next summer I will have graduated and moved on to bigger and {maybe not so much} better things.

So here's to SUMMER 2010:

(In no particular order) Besides working...

  1. Get a passport
  2. Lose 5 lbs
  3. Scrapbook
  4. Play tennis
  5. Learn to cut better on a waterski
  6. Paint a picture
  7. Buy a watermelon, cut it, and eat it outside
  8. Take a hike or 2 or 3
  9. See the spiral jetty
  10. Be tan
  11. Become best friends with Ty
  12. Go somewhere I've never been that's at least 2 hours away
  13. Discover more about who I am
  14. Golf
  15. Buy a plane ticket to Chicago
  16. Take pictures

If anyone would like to join, I'd be more than delighted.

eff school

I've been at the library for well over an hour now and I have a good solid 2 sentences written on my paper. EFFFF SCHOOL!

I wish I would have gone skiing. I'm looking out the windows at the snow on the mountains, and the blue sky. Why didn't I go up there. Today would have been the perfect day. I'm mad at myself.

Things I've done today:
  1. Sleep in
  2. Shower
  3. Find endless split ends

All I can think about is the jazz game tonight (it better be a good game dammit), and powell next week.

Where is my self control?!?

That's all.

Oh, and EFF SCHOOL

Dear Boise,

Thanks for providing such a fun weekend for us. You were so easy for us to navigate through, considering the fact that you were new to us. (Tabitha also deserves a thanks.) Although I'm sad I have no pictures of our advenures visiting you, I have the great memories. I'm glad that we were able to find a quality apartment near your center for not much money. We thoroughly enjoyed your Hampton Inn, although the bed wasn't the best. I am sad I left the yellow Vans at that skate shop of yours. We don't have any here, so please save a pair in a size 6.5 for me.

Your recent visitor,
Lindsey
