Hearing the Voice of the Lord - Gerald Lund

Wow.  I think everyone should read this book.  It is wonderful, and I highly recommend it.

It is all about personal revelation.  One of the most important things we must learn while on earth is how to hear the voice of the lord, recognize it, and respond to it.  We can all learn how to become better at this.  And I definitely want to.

I want to know what the Lord is thinking.  I want to know and understand what he has to say to me.  I want to know what his plan is for my life.  And I know that he is not silent.  He does speak to us and help us.  And it is through the still small voice of the Holy Ghost.

I wanted to choose some favorite quotes but there are way too many.  There are amazing quotes literally on every page.  This book is extremely uplifting and helped me to see things though my spiritual eyes.  Well, here's one quote:

"If we have eyes to see, we will learn that our Heavenly Father watches over us 'in every hour and in every moment' of our existence"

Basically, I love this book.  It has made me realize more that what the Lord wants for me is what I want for me.  I will do whatever he asks and will experience all he needs me to experience.  And I will do it with a happy heart.

Please go buy this book and read it.  You will not regret it.
